You’ve always got to brush your teeth

I’m often annoyed by how much interior work is needed to do the exterior work of my life. Honestly, it would be much better if preaching could just be a collection of my random thoughts and not deeply held beliefs that I’m comfortable sharing in front of strangers and my family. Or what if I didn’t actually care about my piano students and it didn’t take all this time to learn how to find a version of Rush E my beginner students can play.

Maybe those aren’t great examples, but I am trying to talk about an intangible interior integrity.
